Dr. Karous is licensed to practice in California and Georgia and has been practicing at this hospital since her graduation from veterinary school.

She is very active in the community and is a member of the Gwinnett Veterinary Society, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.  Her hobbies include traveling, gardening and participating in triathlons.  She has two miniature pinschers (Coach and Charli), a Rottweiler (Blade), and a cat (Happy).

She purchased this hospital in 1999 and continues to pursue her dream of providing high quality animal care and educating clients in the human-animal bond.
